Welcome, everyone! We are in the first week of our English course together and it's off to a wonderful start. This week we have begun to explore meaning and identity in our lives by choosing items in our lives that have meaning. We also worked on understanding the First Peoples Principles of Learning and discussed how our school system does and doesn't reflect those values. This week we will finish two writing samples, begin to evaluate source material, and take our first visit to the Library Learning Commons for a "Book Tasting". At the bottom of this post is a list of the pages you should have in your green duotang as well as the digital versions of the assignments if you need to access them. I will upload our class brainstorms and collected ideas in a separate post if you need to use them to finish work at home.
