This week we are exploring and developing skills in the area of studying, note-taking, assessment of privacy and risk online, and literary devices. A very diverse week!
Monday:
Tuesday:
We began our exploration of privacy in the information age at the end of Monday's class, and dove into it today. Most of this material was covered in-depth in class discussions.
Wednesday:
Today we are learning about different literary elements or devices, which are ways to improve and enhance everything you write.
Thursday:
One tricky thing about English is that there are many words that sound the same but have different meanings and/or spelling. Talk about frustrating!! One way to get used to using the right words is to read lots, but the other way is to practice.
Monday:
- Watch this video and fill in this sheet as you go.
- Check your work by looking at our class notes.
